Enbridge Inc. says it has resumed work on its Line 3 replacement project in Minnesota after a worker died Friday at a construction site in Hill City.
In an email, a company spokesperson said the company reinforced safety standards and protocols as work paused at the site and across the project for a safety stand down before resuming the next day.
Tracie Kenyon said Enbridge has no further details to share at this time while the investigation into the incident takes place.
“Our hearts go out to the worker’s family, friends and co-workers,” she said. “Grief counseling is being made available for workers and members of the team.”
