​Tourmaline pushes past Husky in latest Canadian oil and gas production ranking

Tourmaline Oil Corp. bumped ahead of Husky Energy Inc. in the latest ranking of Canada's top publicly traded oil and gas producers by volume.

According to the new DOB/KPMG Top Operators report, in 2017 Tourmaline sat in number six position behind Husky, with 242,435 boe/d compared to Husky’s 283,133 boe/d.

But in 2018 the two companies switched position, with Husky moving down a position and taking number six, with 252,300 boe/d compared to Tourmaline's 265,044 boe/d.
