Superior Propane implements advanced fuel tank monitoring solution from Bell

Bell has signed a multi-year agreement with Superior Propane, a subsidiary of Superior Plus Corp., to deliver a comprehensive fuel tank monitoring solution for its business and residential customers on Bell's national LTE mobile network.

Leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology sector, the remote monitoring solution provides reliable and accurate data on fuel levels at Superior customer locations across the country.

Operating on Bell's national LTE mobile network and employing thousands of tank sensors provided by Bell's Montréal-based IoT partner Otodata, the solution delivers data to a centralized dashboard, ensuring timely fuel replenishment for Superior customers while reducing the company's operational costs.

"Reliable, timely and cost-effective fuel distribution is a critical requirement for our residential and commercial customers across Canada," Maurizio Laudisa, vice-president, Information Services, Procurement and Fleet at Superior Propane, said in a statement.
