The theme for this year’s event is Twice as Safe, Twice as Productive | Moving Forward Together – Collaboration Builds Success.
Building on the success of previous years, this event will provide up-to-date information and case studies on how the construction industry in Alberta is advancing improvements in safety and productivity on the job site.
What are some highlights this year?
- Keynote speaker Kevin Nalley of ExxonMobil will talk about how the company successfully applied advanced work packaging at a major project in the USA.
- Industry experts panel to discuss COAA's “Twice as Safe, Twice as Productive” drive and how companies are succeeding.
- 17 technical workshops featuring leading speakers in safety, productivity, work force planning and contract management.

Where is the conference and how much does it cost?
The Best Practices Conference is a two-day event being held at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta on May 9-10th. The early bird registration cost is $450 plus GST until April 13th and will then go to a standard $550 plus GST.
